Background: Prodigy Padel Academy is a pioneer in high-performance Padel training in Spain. The academy, known for its excellence in coaching, has launched the Prodigy Padel Academy App to make advanced adel training accessible worldwide, catering to players from beginners to professionals.
 

Challenges:


Launching Prodigy Padel Academy's app from scratch required an ambitious plan to scale across Europe, the US, South America, and the Arab states. The primary launch languages were English and Spanish, with Spain as the core market.

Goals:

Our primary goal was to acquire the initial user base and explore potential markets with campaigns in English and Spanish across more than 30 countries. We aimed to build and grow a robust online community around the Prodigy Padel Academy brand. Another key objective was to achieve high rankings in the app stores to increase visibility and downloads. Additionally, we sought to gather extensive insights from our paid advertising campaigns to enable rapid scaling. This required a high level of experimentation to determine the most effective strategies for achieving product-market fit from an advertising perspective.

Strategy: 


We began with comprehensive research and planning for all target markets, creating a meticulous budget plan to efficiently manage the extensive scope of our campaign. Our initial advertising efforts focused on launching Apple Ads, Google Ads, and Meta Ads to reach a wide audience across various platforms. Recognizing the importance of social media, we established TikTok and Instagram accounts to lay the foundation for a vibrant and engaged community. We leveraged the existing Prodigy Padel community by supporting events and experiences, notably in Marbella, Spain, and Bastad, Sweden, to create buzz and foster a sense of community. To ensure a cohesive and impactful campaign, we collaborated closely with the internal design team to develop compelling app store listing descriptions and visually appealing app store slides. Our advertising efforts were meticulously planned and executed across multiple platforms, including Meta, Google, and Apple, with continuous monitoring and optimization.

We managed the creation and execution of paid advertising campaigns across 30 countries, ensuring localized content and strategic targeting for each market. Social media management was a key focus, with dedicated efforts to create and manage content on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, fostering engagement and community growth. We organized and executed events and experiences, including the design of marketing materials, to further enhance brand visibility and user engagement. Throughout the campaign, we maintained rigorous reporting and budget management, ensuring alignment with the overarching large-scale launch plan.

Outcomes:

Successfully launched marketing campaigns in multiple countries, including Spain, Argentina, Mexico, the UK, Italy, France, the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ireland, Australia + NZ, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, Singapore, and Canada.

Achieved 40,500 installs with an average cost per install of 0.61 euros.

Registered 25,000 users, achieving a 60% conversion rate from downloads to registered users.
User distribution was 35% iOS downloads and 64% Android downloads.

Acquired 8,000 users in Spain, ranking #22 in the Apple Store and #49 in the Google Store in the sports category within the first three months.

Successfully executed events in Villa Padierna, Spain, and Bastad, Sweden.
